Hello Nadine. These were installed by Birmingham City Council as they manage the cemetery but if you contact Bereavements Department for Brandwood End I am sure they can help. Search Birmingham Bereavements Brandwood End for a link.

We found your headstone warning sign on a web search, as we need similar for our cemetery. I was wondering if you could point us to the company who made these for you?

Many Thanks, Nadine – Ilminster Town Council

Not sure Jackie but I will try and find out. We have no additional resources than any member of the public but if I post there may be someone who has an idea.

There are at least 4 people from this bombing attack buried in Brandwood civilian garden, Courtnell and Brookes are the surnames.

I am afraid I cant, but I know a man who can and he will be at our Open Day for Heritage in the Civilian Garden at Brandwood End. His name is Matt Felkin and he works with BARRA(Birmingham Air Raids)

Can anyone confirm precisely the date of the air raid that hit Fieldhead Road in Tyseley, including the actual time that the sirens started, the time when the bombs fell there which caused fatalities of residents in that road, the names of people caught in that raid in Fieldhead Road, plus when the all clear was sounded ? I think that it was in the early evening of November 22nd 1940 when the warning sirens began. Thanks.
