Litter Pick 3rd April – can you spare an hour or so please?

For those of you who think there is very little litter around these days and so there is no need to come, it is only like that because of the continuing efforts of the ground staff and the Friends’ Litter Pick days.  We can’t let up the pressure on litter.   And it is a great way to get some fresh air and make new friends!

Children are most welcome to come and help out but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please meet at 10am at The Lodge (we finish about 11.30). Dress appropriately for the weather and bring some gloves. Bags and pickers will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Date for the February Litter Pick

The next Litter Pick is due to take place on:SATURDAY 5th FEBRUARY 2011.

All you need are your gloves and your usual hand tools.  As ever children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please meet at 10am at The Lodge.

Dress appropriately for the weather and bring some gloves. Bags and pickers will be provided.

For those of you who think there is very little litter around these days and so there is no need to come, it is only like that because of the continuing efforts of the ground staff and the Friends’ Litter Pick days.  We can’t let up the pressure on litter.

A clean environment encourages people to keep it that way.  This simple bi-monthly task is essential in maintaining this cemetery’s appearance.

Talking about appearance

Now we have restored the Civilian Garden we are looking for any of you gardeners out there to also come at the same time as the Litter Picks to help maintain the garden by simple weeding.

All you need are your gloves – litter pickers and bags are provided.  Please see the Events page for the next dates.  See you there for fresh air, friendship and fun!
