A great sunny Litter Pick

Our thanks to the 13 volunteers who helped with today’s Litter Pick. Together we collected 18 bags of mainly wind blown litter. It was noticeable that the squirrels and birds have created havoc in some areas as they desperately searched for water during the hot weather. 6th September Litter Pick.

Our September Litter Pick takes place tomorrow, the 6th . Everyone welcome. Meet on the main drive opposite the Lodge ready to set off at 10am. We have the pickers and the bags so come along for a stroll around in the sunshine whilst helping to keep the cemetery litter free.

Where did July go!

What a dry few months we have had! The cemetery is bone dry and towards the end of the month we did experience a small grass fire following a blaze in a nearby property but it was very quickly brought under control by local neighbours with hoses and buckets. A reminder again not to leave …

HSBC Bank staff back to help again.
