Woodthorpe Road closure

The Friends and Bereavement staff have been given several versions of the dates this will happen and whether the road will close fully or just for the hours mentioned. This appears to be the most recent e mail !  This should not affect pedestrian access as it is road resurfacing.

Its an ill wind ….or rain !

You may remember, not so long ago, Valley Contractors kindly donated and laid turf to tidy up the entrance to the lodge. Look at it now! The rain and meticulous watering by a couple of committee members have meant its now knitted in and thriving.

Our thanks to Valley Contractors

Pre-Covid the two flower beds adjacent to the Lodge ramp were planted twice a year with Geraniums and Pansies by Birmingham Parks and Nurseries staff, but in the last round of financial cuts this service was discontinued.
