Family Hedgehog Event

FBEC joined with Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust and the Park Rangers to organise a family event based around Hedgehogs. Despite on and off rain, nothing distracted all the mums and dads and children from enjoying the activities. Watch this space for news of further events centred around Hedgehogs and Brandwood End Cemetery. Well done Rachel and Jan for keeping the 25+ children and 12+ adults occupied!!  The children spent a lovely afternoon bug hunting and hedgehog habitat spotting as well as drawing or making their own hedgehogs.IMG_0025 (800x600)

  1. Hello Friends of Braidwood Cemetery what a valuable role you play, first I must congratulations on your group and activities. We are planning to visit your site on Friday 5 February 2016 at 10.30am to look at your Redwood Trees as we are re-planting an avenue of similar trees to replace the historic one we lost last year. We are aware your site has much history and other interest and wondered if one of your group could meet us on that day to tell us a little about it the type of things you do. We are heading for a coffee afterwards you may like to join us? Please let me know. Kind Regards Lynn

      Hello Lynn.
I am happy to meet you there and give you a bit of a guided walk. Any idea how many of you there will be? I had heard about your Redwood Project from the Rangers. Its now in my Diary so speak nearer the time. Jane Edwards (Chairman)
