It was a really busy event at Dawberry Fields with dancers, singers, food stalls and lots of local visitors. Many of them have family buried in Brandwood End Cemetery and came to chat to us. We enjoyed meeting them all and thank them for their offers of help.
Dawberry Fields Festival 2025
The Friends will be at Dawberry Fields Park for their festival event this Saturday the 21st June. Why not come along and see what we have been doing in the cemetery lately? We will be there from 12 noon till 4pm.
Mad dogs and Deutsche Bank Staff go out in the midday sun!!
It certainly was hot, hot, hot when a team of Deutsche Bank staff came into Brandwood End Cemetery to help us clear shrubbery from headstones and tidy up the front of Section 10……again! Some of this area was cleared about 6 years ago by 202 Army Reserves but I am afraid it was mostly back. …
Scouts help out at Litter Pick
Thank you to Scouts from Colmore Group for boosting our litter pick numbers. Over 20 bags of mainly flower paper and old windblown artificial flowers were collected from around the cemetery. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU FIX ALL TRIBUTES SECURELY AND REMOVE FLOWER PAPER. Thank you.
