Heritage Open event

Despite the rain (hopefully it will stop) our open event today will still go ahead. Doug will still talk, the trails will be set up and the research will be on view. What else will you do on a rainy day? Bring a brolly. The trail is wheelchair/ push chair friendly.

Final session with Caring for God’s Acre in 2021

Heritage Week event represents our last outdoor memorial recording session with George. Next comes the nitty gritty of transferring it all on to a data base. On site again in 2022 so watch this space. 

Sunshine for our Heritage Tree Walk

Great turn out today for our first Heritage Week activity. 22 people spent several hours today enjoying the trees and the environment that is Brandwood End Cemetery. Our thanks go to Dean Paul for such an interesting and informative walk and special thanks to all those that attended, for supporting us in Heritage Week.

Tree Walk this week.

Just a reminder that Ranger Dean will be leading a ‘tree walk’ in the cemetery at 1pm this Wednesday the 15th. No need to book , just meet at the Lodge on the main drive. This is the first event in our Heritage Open Week (The Bat walk sneaked in early!) Stout footwear advised.

All our Section Markers are sparking now!

We gave a shout out for someone to wash all the dirty Section Markers in the cemetery and Rebecca and young David stepped up- and what an amazing job they did. Well Done. This has been such a help to make the cemetery look loved for Open Day on the 19th.
